He had a hard life because he lived with people at the age of six that abused him.
He loved writing even when he was little
As he got older he join the newspaper the pioneer
He loved the outdoors
His mother came to rescue from the cruelty of his and his sister foster family
He loved to travel
Whenever he was asked to tell a story he would always talk about adventure and fantasy
When he wrote he let his thoughts and is pen guide to another world

"Just so Stories" was based of most of his imagination
He took many trips and viewed as each a new adventure
He loved spending in wide open places
He describe of his imagination is like a time machine
Some of his books took him to parts of his past that are completely dark
Most of his relatives were artist so his imagination was always coming out
He was a kid at heart
He wanted kids to have a better childhood then he did or make their childhood a bit better than before
Even there were tragic times in his live he turn into something amazing for children and adults
Take everything you like seriously, except yourselves.
